# LastTable

> LastTable is a mobile app for booking restaurant tables in real time. It shows tables that are actually free, including in the next 30 minutes, and Flash Tables: time-limited offers that restaurants set themselves.

## Key facts

- Where: LastTable is preparing to launch in Dubai, United Arab Emirates, in English and Arabic. It starts with a pilot for a small number of signed-up restaurants and invited diners, and is not on the public app stores there yet.
- Diners: LastTable is free for diners. You can browse without an account; you verify your mobile number with a one-time SMS code when you book. You pay the restaurant directly for what you order; diners never pay in the app.
- Restaurant pricing: There is no monthly fee during the pilot. Paid dashboard plans may follow after the pilot; their prices have not been set. Restaurants pay a customer acquisition fee of AED 25 (pilot placeholder) only when a diner who is new to that restaurant books through LastTable and completes the visit. Repeat diners, cancellations, no-shows, walk-ins, phone bookings the restaurant adds itself, and guests the restaurant already knew are free.
- VAT: restaurant prices exclude VAT; VAT at the standard 5% rate is added to invoices.
- Boosts and credits: Every restaurant gets a free 14-day welcome boost and 50 starter credits (CUs). Credits are optional. They pay for boosts and for the optional AI growth manager, never for booking fees. A boost places a venue higher in Recommended with a "Promoted" label; it never affects Trending or For you. A one-day boost costs 10 CUs; packs start at 100 CUs for AED 80 (pilot placeholder prices).
- AI growth manager: The AI growth manager is optional. It is free to hire; it proposes Flash Tables for quiet slots and the restaurant approves each one. It costs 5 CUs (≈AED 4) only per returning diner it brings back who completes their visit; first-time diners pay the usual customer acquisition fee instead. A weekly credit cap is a hard limit.
- Privacy: LastTable does not collect diners' location, contacts or photos, does not use advertising identifiers and does not sell personal data. The app's data is stored with Supabase in the European Union. The restaurant you book receives your name, phone number, booking details and any request you add. This website sets no cookies and loads no third-party trackers.
- Other markets: closed pilot in Dublin, Ireland (https://lasttable.ie).
- No published user numbers, ratings or awards. Restaurants are listed only after they sign up and go live.

- Is LastTable free for diners? LastTable is free for diners. You can browse without an account; you verify your mobile number with a one-time SMS code when you book. You pay the restaurant directly for what you order; diners never pay in the app.
- Do I need an account to look for a table? No. You can see live tables and offers without signing up. When you book, you enter your name and verify your mobile number with a one-time SMS code. While you confirm, the table is held for you for 5 minutes.
- What are Flash Tables? Flash Tables are offers that a restaurant publishes for specific times, such as 10–25% off food or a free dessert for the table, on a limited number of tables. The app shows the exact offer, how many tables are left and the terms before you book, and the restaurant applies it to your bill.
- What is Cancellation Radar? If a restaurant is full, you can ask Radar to watch it for your party size, date and time window. When a matching table opens, you get an alert and can confirm it. During the pilot, alerts appear in the app; push notifications are planned.
- How do I join the Dubai pilot? Ask for an invite on the Dubai pilot page. Invites go out in small batches through TestFlight on iPhone and Google Play testing on Android.
- What does the restaurant see about me? The restaurant you book receives your name, phone number, date, time, party size and any occasion or request you add, and can see whether you are new to it through LastTable. It does not see your other bookings, saved places or preferences.

- How much does LastTable cost a restaurant? There is no monthly fee during the pilot. Paid dashboard plans may follow after the pilot; their prices have not been set. Restaurants pay a customer acquisition fee of AED 25 (pilot placeholder) only when a diner who is new to that restaurant books through LastTable and completes the visit. Repeat diners, cancellations, no-shows, walk-ins, phone bookings the restaurant adds itself, and guests the restaurant already knew are free.
- When exactly is the fee charged? Only when the booking is completed (the diner came and was seated), the diner booked through the LastTable app, and they are new to your restaurant. A diner counts as new once per restaurant, so every later visit is free.
- Which diners never cost a fee? Repeat diners, cancellations and no-shows, walk-ins and phone bookings you add in the dashboard, and guests on the list you import before you start (we match them by phone number).
- Do I have to buy credits? No. Credits (CUs) are optional and only pay for boosts and the growth manager. You start with 50 free CUs and a 14-day welcome boost. If your balance reaches zero, only boosting stops; bookings keep coming as normal.
- Who decides the offers? You do. You choose the times, the discount (10–25% off food) or a free dessert, and how many tables. The growth manager only proposes; nothing goes live until you approve it, unless you turn on auto-approval for small proposals under a cap you set.
- How is this different from per-cover booking fees? Some booking platforms charge for every seated cover, including regulars who would have come anyway, often alongside a monthly subscription. LastTable charges only for a diner's first completed visit to your restaurant, with no monthly fee during the pilot.
